A conspiracy theory is a belief that two or more actors have coordinated in secret to achieve an outcome and that their conspiracy is of public interest but not public knowledge.
It is easy to cook up a conspiracy theory. You just need three ingredients:
- Protagonists – Who did it?
- An action – What did they do?
- A motive – Why did they do it?
