Welcome to new Postdoctoral Researcher Imane Khaouja!

We are very pleased to announce that Imane joined the team in February.  Imane has a background in computer science and is working alongside Professor Karen Douglas and Professor Jim Ang to investigate the prevalence of conspiracy theories using computational approaches.  She is particularly interested in using natural language processing (NLP) and graph analysis techniques to explore the hidden aspects of this complex phenomenon. By analyzing the text and social links in online content, Imane hopes to gain a deeper understanding of the impact of conspiracy theories and misinformation on public opinion, attitudes, and behavior.  We are very excited about the prospect of working with Imane and Jim on this aspect of the project and will keep you posted on our research in this area as it progresses.
