Ramesh holds a PhD in Project Management from Northumbria University focusing on making critical trade-offs in project decisions. Her research received one of the first PhD awards of the Major Projects Association (MPA) for its impact on and applicability in major projects. Before joining academia, Ramesh acted as project manager, consultant, strategic planner, auditor, senior analyst, and management educator in several major project/programme companies in various industries. Ramesh’s main research is in making critical project decisions and trade-offs but also responsible Project Managment leadership, research, and education, along with ethics in Project Management research and practice. She was a co-investigator for a PMI granted research on responsible leadership and ethical decision making in projects.
