They learn how billions of tiny micrometeorites land on the surface of the Earth every year, hidden amongst pollution particles and household dust. Where does cosmic dust come from and what can it tell us about the birth of the solar system?

Appearing on the Infinite Monkey Cage was Fantastic! I had a lot of fun discussing cosmic dust and trying to shock the hosts and audience with the kind of damage that a speeding grain of dust can do to a spacecraft (the sorts of things we test here at Kent with our two stage light gas gun!)
