We welcome contact from anyone wanting to get in touch with us to find out more about our project or to make us aware of relevant issues, groups or activities.
We will also be running public events as the project develops and more information on these will be posted on this website and advertised on social media.
We recognise that for survivors to talk about their experiences in research interviews can raise issues that require more personal working through over a longer period of time. Some immediate support will be available to people taking part in our interviews. Following advice from survivors, we also feel that it is better to interview people who have some existing support network in place, whether personal therapy, involvement in a group or some other on-going support. As a result, we will primarily be working with existing survivor groups across different religious communities to make contact with potential interviewees rather than making an open call for participants.
