Welcome to the Wi-Fi planning pages. Here you can test how wireless access points behave depending on location in buildings, transmit power and the presence of other access points and walls. It is advised to start with Scenario 1 and work your way through as they get more complex. On each Scenario there is a single Wireless Mobile Device. This can be moved around to see if you are recieving a good or bad signal and an explanation can be read using the link below the properties.
There are settings below the applet such as a control for the accuracy which will affect the speed of processing, this is important when dragging objects around. It is recommended that you use a browser such as Google Chrome as you need a HTML5 compatible browser and testing of the app has proved Chrome to be faster.
