Our members are involved in editing and contributing to journals and organising and speaking at events, for example:

• We manage the principal journal focused on social risk: Health, Risk and Society.
• Jo Warner is co-convenor of the BSA Risk and Society Study Group.
• We are organising panels at the 2018 World Congress of Sociology.

Visitors

Dr Efim Fidryra will be a research associate attached to the risk group in late 2016. He is Head of the sociological laboratory for risk analysis and modelling at the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University where is also an associate professor in the Department of Politics, Social Technologies and Mass Communications.
