Lee Armstrong is a 2nd year PhD Student at the School of Computing (since September 2024). His work focuses on the design of NISQ (noisy intermediate-scale quantum) devices for specialised use-cases, under the joint supervision of Dr Carlos Perez Delgado (School of Computing) and Dr Jorge Quintanilla (School of Engineering, Mathematics and Physics).
His research interests are Quantum Computing and Virtual Reality.
He is a demonstrator for both foundation and stage one physics laboratories. He is also the solo developer of ConVRse, a VR Social Platform which is currently being used in the stage one physics laboratories.
