Silvia Ramos has been been appointed Chair of the Diamond Light Source User Committee. In addition to running the meetings with the facility twice per year, she will represent the user community of the facility (14,000 researchers worldwide) at their Science Advisory Board and the European Synchrotron Users Organisation. We extend our congratulations to our colleague on taking up this exciting new role.
