Joining our group from China – China Scholarship Council (CSC) funding available at Kent

The University of Kent and the China Scholarship Council are jointly providing up to 20 fully funded PhD scholarships per annum for Chinese students to study at University of Kent's UK campuses.

If you are a citizen of the People’s Republic of China and would like to join the Physics of Quantum Materials research group as a PhD student this scheme provides an excellent way of funding your project. It covers full tuition fees at overseas rate, a living stipend, a return airfare from China to the UK, medical insurance and a one-off reimbursement for UK visa costs. Applications must be made to the University of Kent by 31 January 2021. Candidates who wish to join the PQM group are strongly advised to contact research group leader Jorge Quintanilla at least 2-3 weeks before the deadline. Please mention “CSC scholarship” in the subject line and attach a draft application (your application is not submitted until you send a final version to the University following the instructions on the above webpage). Contact with other academics in the PQM group is also strongly encouraged.
