Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC) -Kent PhD Scholarships

The University of Kent and the China Scholarship Council are jointly providing up to 20 fully funded PhD scholarships per annum for Chinese students to study at University of Kent in the UK. The MEE group is delighted to support applications by citizens of the Peoples Republic of China for these scholarships and would strongly encourage them to get in touch with our group well ahead of the deadline on the 23rd of January.

Members of the Materials for Energy and Electronic group are delighted to advise and support eligible applications for China Scholarship Council (CSC) studentships at the University of Kent in areas related to our expertise in materials chemistry and physics. Successful students will have their tuition fees covered, a living stipend, return airfare from China to the UK and cover for medical insurance and visas costs. This will enable them to take advantage of our excellent research equipment and well developed supervisory expertise. Potential projects can be seen here but these are not exhaustive and we are happy to hear from you if regarding a project outside this area provided they relate to our areas of expertise in materials for electronics and energy applications. If you are unsure who to contact in the first instance please email our Group leader, Dr Paul Saines. For more general information on the scholarship scheme see the University of Kent’s CSC Scholarship page.

The deadline for applications is th 23rd of January but please contact us well ahead of time before applying so we are able to help you find a suitable project and help you prepare a strong application.
