Euan Scott awarded Masters by Research

Euan Scott has had his masters by research degree approved after minor corrections were accepted on the 16th of December. Euan completed his project entitled “The Structural and Magnetic Characterisation of Perovskite-Related Oxyfluoride Materials”, which was carried out under the supervision of Dr Emma McCabe. This explored the structures and magnetic properties of layered perovskite variants, which are promising multiferroic materials due to their ability to combine magnetic and ferroelectric properties making them promising for a range of applications including high density data storage and spintronics. Congratulations Euan, a great way for the MEE group to end the year!
