About

Anisia Iacob’s research focuses on how theological ideas of the Reformation can be visually translated through flora and fauna church interior decorations, focusing on anti-trinitarianism. As part of the project Knowledge Orders Before Modernity, she holds a Leverhulme scholarship and works under the supervision of Dr Suzanna Ivanič (Kent) and Dr Hannah Murphy (King’s). Her research interests include early modern philosophy, history of ideas, embodiment, and techniques of knowledge-making. Before starting her journey in this project, she received two MAs from Leiden Universiteit and worked for the Nederlands Instituut voor Kunstgeschiedenis (RKD).
