The Canterbury Association for Medieval and Early Modern Studies is introducing a new Small Grants Scheme for doctoral students in 2026-27, providing grants of up to £800 to help PhD researchers attend conferences and specialist training events. These opportunities can be crucial in helping early-career scholars present their research, acquire specialist skills, and build academic networks. We believe that supporting emerging researchers is one of the most important contributions CAMEMS can make to the future of the discipline, and we are pleased to be able to extend our support in this way. Details to follow.
