The Centre for Medieval and Early Modern Studies provides a home for the MEMS MA and MEMS PhD. Embedded in the centre, these programmes run in close proximity to the research activities of our world-leading staff. We are lucky to have the archives and libraries of Canterbury Cathedral and the Templeman Special Collections on our doorstep, as well as the Beaney Museum, Canterbury Archaeological Trust and London’s wealth of resources, providing plentiful research, teaching and volunteering opportunities for our students. MEMS provides an excellent launch pad for future careers in academia, heritage and beyond.
