The Mechanical Engineering Research group conducts world-leading and diverse cutting-edge research to develop novel technologies that could support industrial needs nationally and internationally.
The Mechanical Engineering Research group is consisted of academic staffs, Researchers, PhD, and MSc students who are delivering research across a wide range of topics including but not limited to Materials and Structures, Energy, Advanced Manufacturing, Thermo-Fluids, Robotics and Dynamics. The research outputs are published through high-impact publications in leading journals and conferences. Furthermore, various researches across the group are supported by industrial and governmental fundings to focus on novel solutions to achieve national and international needs specially toward Net-Zero goals in Energy, Materials, and Manufacturing. The mechanical engineering group is also home of brand new research facilities provided through external and university-based fundings.
