William B. Worthen

W. B. Worthen is Professor and Chair of the Department of Theatre at Barnard College, and Co-Chair of the Ph.D. in Theatre and Performance and Professor of English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University. He is the author of many books and articles on drama, performance, and performance theory, most recently Shakespeare, Technicity, Theatre (Cambridge, 2020), Shakespeare Performance Studies (Cambridge, 2014), and Drama: Between Poetry and Performance (Wiley-Blackwell, 2010).
