Lucy Munro

Lucy Munro is Professor of Shakespeare and Early Modern Literature at King’s College London. She is the author of Children of the Queen’s Revels: A Jacobean Theatre Repertory (CUP, 2005), Archaic Style in English Literature, 1590-1674(CUP, 2013) and Shakespeare in the Theatre: The King’s Men (Bloomsbury Arden Shakespeare, 2020). Her most recent work as an editor includes James Shirley’s The Gentleman of Venice for The Complete Works of James Shirley(forthcoming 2021). She is currently a co-investigator on ‘Engendering the Stage’ (https://engenderingthestage.humanities.mcmaster.ca) and is editing The Insatiate Countess for The Complete Works of John Marston.
