Frédérique’s research interests cover the history of English political structures from the 12th to the 14th century (in particular delegation of power, office) and the history of political thought, with a particular reference to John of Salisbury. She is preparing a monograph on the political culture of London in the late 12th and early 13th centuries. Recent publications include a study of the reign of King John.
