Successful Master's Defence and PhD Acceptance for KAIROS Member
We are delighted to share two fantastic pieces of news about Cinthya Prieto-García, a member of the KAIROS group and a student from Universidad de Guanajuato.
Last week, under the joint supervision of Oscar Jiménez-Halla and Felipe Fantuzzi, Cinthya successfully defended her Master’s viva, demonstrating her exceptional research and academic prowess.
Shortly after this significant achievement, Cinthya received the exciting news that her PhD application was successful! For her doctoral studies, she will be supervised by Oscar Jiménez-Halla, Felipe Fantuzzi, and Heidy Quitián-Lara, focusing on groundbreaking research in astrochemistry and astrobiology, specifically investigating the role of boron.
