In 2018 we were awarded funding by the ESRC-AHRC to organise a series of workshops with collaborators from the University of Kent and Kogakkan University. A delegation from Kogakkan was hosted at Kent in 2019 with workshops in Canterbury, Faversham, and London. The pandemic ensued and we received a series of postponements for the project. Finally, a delegation from Kent was able to visit Kogakkan in October 2022, spending time in Ise, Kyoto, and Tokyo.
