On this page
The accordion panel comprises of vertically stacked list of items.
Panel settings
Each item can be “expanded” or “collapsed” to reveal the content associated with that item. There can be zero expanded items, exactly one, or more than one item expanded at a time, depending on the configuration. It is a relatively simple panel to edit and there are only a few options.
- Open all accordions – When creating an accordion you have the option of setting the accordions to be open by default. When enabling this option the accordions on your page will all appear opened on page load rather than requring a click to open each accordion.
Adding an accordion
Begin by clicking the green “Add accordion” button. This accordion can then hold your expandable content blocks. You can add a title to your accordion here by filling out the title field.
After you have added a title you can begin to add expandable blocks. Each block is called a section and you may add one by clicking on the green “Add section” button.
You will then be given two new fields, Title and Content.
1 – Title
The title will be the text that appears in the blue kent lead text font and style and clicking on the title will open the expandable block of text.
2 – Content
The content is what will be revealed by clicking on the title. This fills the expandable block.
You can then click the same green “Add section” button to add another expandable block. You will then need to fill out the title and content of that “dropdown” as well.
