Vu Tien Dzung received a Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Science, Vietnam National University Hanoi in 2015. He is currently a lecturer in the Faculty of Mathematics, Mechanics, and Informatics, Vietnam National University Hanoi (VNU).
Vu Tien Dzung’s research focuses on high performance computing, particularly on developing parallel algorithms and regularization techniques for computing the numerical solutions of large ill-posed systems of equations. These systems are frequently encountered in data analytic frameworks. Recently, he has also been interested in efficient methods for solving optimization problems which appear in signal processing, medical image reconstruction, transportation and routing, and forest management.
