Dr Hong Duc Doan

About

Doan Hong Duc is a lecturer in the Department of Transport Planning at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport.  He holds a dual-MSc from the Technische Universität Darmstad in Germany and the Vietnamese-German University in Vietnam.

Research interests

His research interests lie at the intersection between transport planning, traffic engineering, transport networks, operations, policy and travel behaviour. He is especially interested in the interface between traffic flow theory, traffic modelling, traffic safety and traffic simulation in motorcycle-dominated environments. The main aim of his current research is to apply theories and models for multi-modal transport networks by combining advancements in behavioural sciences, Operations Research, and complex network theory in Vietnam.
