Dr. Nuri Yeşilyurt is an Associate Professor of International Relations at the Faculty of Political Science of Ankara University. He received his B.A. degree from Ankara University in 2004 and M.Phil. degree from the University of Cambridge in 2005. His M.Phil thesis was on Turkish-Arab relations during the World War One. Dr. Yesilyurt completed his Ph.D. in 2013 at Ankara University with the thesis titled “Regime Security and Small State in the Middle East: The Case of Jordan.” His publications are mainly focused on Turkish–Arab relations, Turkish Foreign Policy, and MENA politics and security. Dr. Yeşilyurt received post-doctoral scholarship from Turkish Scientific and Technological Research Council (TÜBİTAK) to be used at the Conflict Analysis Research Centre (CARC) during 2021-2022 academic year. His research at CARC will focus on the problem of Security Sector Reform (SSR) in post-revolution Libya.
