Dr Philip Cunliffe

Philip Cunliffe is Associate Professor in International Relations at the Institute of Risk and Disaster Reduction, UCL. He joined UCL after thirteen years at the School of Politics and International Relations at the University of Kent, throughout which time he served as a member of CARC in various functions. His expertise is in peacekeeping, military intervention, liberal conflict management and international order. His most recent books include The New Twenty Years’ Crisis 1999-2019: A critique of international relations (McGill-Queens University Press, 2020).
