Summary
The project modelled a range of low carbon refurbishment solutions for the development of a heritage townhouse in Margate. Developing dynamic thermal simulation models in DesignBuilder, the project assessed the design implications against the national criteria and standards for energy consumption patterns and overheating conditions for current weather conditions as well as under climate change scenarios.
