Chris Duggan studied visual arts in London before becoming a cartoonist. He worked for the New Statesman and the New Law Journal, and spent twelve years at the Financial Times before joining The Times in 2002 as business cartoonist . His work has also appeared in the The Daily Telegraph, and The Independent. Duggan plays the banjo and signs himself “CD”.
