The group offers a diverse range of research projects including Solar System and Space Science, the Interstellar Medium, Star Formation, Galactic Structure and Planetary Nebulae. The activities include infrared and radio astronomy, astrobiology, astrochemistry, astrofluids and numerical astrophysics.
The actual mix of projects varies from year to year and the projects offered for next year are outlined below. This is not exhaustive and we therefore encourage prospective students to contact members of the academic staff if you have an area or project in mind.
