Studied for his MPhys in Astronomy, Space Science and Astrophysics (ASSA) at Kent, followed by completing his PhD in physics under the supervision of Dr Penny Wozniakiewicz on “The Effects of Atmospheric Entry on Extra-Terrestrial Particles”.
Currently the responsible for running the Light Gas Gun Impact facility and the management of the SEM and Raman analytical suites.
Interests in experimental methods involving hypervelocity impacts and spends most of his time improving the LGG facility and working interests involving orbital debris including work involved with the NASA space debris sensor, research into atmospheric entry and collaborates in many ongoing projects involving SEM analysis.
