Talk Outline

The ‘Lost Meteorites of Antarctica Project’ is the first UK-led Antarctic meteorite recovery project. With support from the British Antarctic Survey we explored new Meteorite Stranding Zones in Antarctica to search for meteorites encapsulated within ice. I will talk about our project’s motivation, the highs and lows of the field campaign, and some meteorite finds.
