He is also the director of the Museo Hist\u00f3rico Nacional del Cabildo de Buenos Aires y de la Revoluci\u00f3n de Mayo. His research focuses on participation in politics in the R\u00edo de la Plata region during the first half of the 19th Century. His published work includes the books <em>\u00a1Viva el bajo pueblo! La plebe urbana de Buenos Aires y la pol\u00edtica entre la Revoluci\u00f3n de Mayo y el rosismo<\/em> (2006 <em>\u00a1Mueran los salvajes unitarios! La Mazorca y la pol\u00edtica en tiempos de Rosas<\/em> (2007), <em>Historia de las clases populares en la Argentina desde 1516 hasta 1880<\/em> (2012), and <em>Manuel Dorrego. Vida y muerte de un l\u00edder popular<\/em> (2014). He has been involved with a number of television series on historical subjects on the channel Canal Encuentro. His current research explores participation in politics in the R\u00edo de la Plata region during the first half of the 19th Century.
