Heejung\u2019s work focuses on individuals\u2019 capabilities to tackle issues confronted in the spheres of work and family life looking at, for example, flexible working and work-life balance.\u00a0<\/span>The main method used to answer these question is multilevel modelling using cross-national\/European data.<\/p>\n

\nMariska<\/a> is a post-doctoral research associate in the School of Social Policy, Sociology and Social Research<\/a> at the University of Kent<\/a>, UK.
\nHer research interests lie on a variety of labour market issues. For example, she is interested in the combination of paid work and other life domains,\u00a0employment of disadvantaged groups such as individuals with a handicap, employment of older workers, etc. Her current research projects reflect these interests. She is also interested in statistical methods and the opportunities these bring for social science research.<\/p>\nDr. Jon Ward<\/h3>\n

\nJon completed his PhD in the School of Social Policy, Sociology and Social Research, University of Kent, on the working conditions of artists in the context of urban regeneration. \nYeosun’s\u00a0main research interests include labour market dualisation\/segmentation, cross-national comparative analysis of employment flexibility and their welfare states. She is\u00a0particularly interested in researching the patterns and characteristics of labour market divisions using various quantitative data analyses including Latent Class Analysis, Latent Transition Analysis and Regression Analysis.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
