Each has responsibility for research on, advocacy for and implementation of labour market policy.<\/p>\n<h2>Vicki Belt<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-801 \" src=\"https:\/\/research.kent.ac.uk\/waf-project\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1949\/2015\/07\/VickiBelt-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"Vicki Belt, UKCES\" width=\"154\" height=\"231\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>Assistant Director, UK Commission for Employment &amp; Skills<\/strong><br \/>\nDr Vicki Belt is an Assistant Director at the UK Commission for Employment &amp; Skills (UKCES). Vicki leads major research projects on a variety of employment and skills issues. She currently directs the UKCES research strategic partnerships programme. Her role also involves providing policy analysis and expert advice. Vicki has 20 years of experience of research in the employment and skills field, covering both qualitative and quantitative research. Prior to working at the UKCES Vicki was a Senior Research Adviser at the Sector Skills Development Agency (SSDA), and before that she worked as a Lecturer and Research Associate at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne.<\/p>\n<h2>Sally Brett<\/h2>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-246\" src=\"https:\/\/research.kent.ac.uk\/waf-project\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2857\/2014\/04\/sally-brett.jpg\" alt=\"sally brett\" width=\"96\" height=\"161\" \/>Senior Equality Policy Officer, TUC<\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">Sally is the Senior Equality Policy Officer in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tuc.org.uk\">TUC\u2019s Equality and Employment Rights Department<\/a>. Her responsibilities include policy and campaign work in relation to the legal framework for equality, including family-friendly rights, age equality, equal pay, flexible working and working parents and carers. She is also responsible for the TUC Equality Audits, biennial audits of trade union equality practice and bargaining on equality issues in the workplace. He specializes in policy-focussed research and technical assistance on these subjects at both the national and the enterprise level, with a particular interest in issues relating to working time flexibility, new forms of work organization such as telework, work sharing, and gender equality. Prior to joining the ILO in 2000,\u00a0Jon worked at the US Department of Labor in Washington, DC, where he served as Team Leader for Research in its Employment and Training Administration.<\/p>\n<h2>Kate Millward<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Department for Business, Innovation and Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Paola Panzeri<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-335\" src=\"https:\/\/research.kent.ac.uk\/waf-project\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2857\/2014\/07\/paola.jpg\" alt=\"Paola, COFACE\" width=\"220\" height=\"144\" \/>Policy Officer, COFACE<\/strong><br \/>\nPaola is policy officer for COFACE \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.coface-eu.org\">Confederation of Family Organisation in the European Union<\/a>, a European NGOs network based in Brussels. Her responsibilities include policy and related advocacy activities in the areas of employment, gender and migration. She is currently working on the development of the \u201cEuropean Reconciliation Package\u201d, the main policy outcome of the \u201c2014 Year of Reconciling Work and Family Life in Europe\u201d (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ey2014.eu\">www.ey2014.eu<\/a> ) through the coordination of the Alliance 2014, an informal alliance of 18 networks of NGOs and Local Authorities.<\/p>\n<h2>Katy Pell<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Policy Advisor, CBI<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-462 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/research.kent.ac.uk\/waf-project\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC_7481-199x300.jpg\" alt=\"Katy Pell\" width=\"199\" height=\"300\" \/><br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nKaty works for the Confederation of British Industry, the UK\u2019s leading business organisation. As their policy adviser on diversity, inclusion, well being, health and safety, Katy focusses on a variety of topics including equal pay, childcare, the roll out of the shared parental leave programme and flexible working. Her responsibilities include policy and related campaigning activities that support business growth and development in the UK through working closely with UK government departments, as well as BusinessEurope and other EU social partner organisations.<\/p>\n<h2>Cinzia Sechi<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Advisor, ETUC<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Rebeka Smith<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Senior Adviser: Social Affairs, BUSINESSEUROPE<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Jonathan Swan<\/h2>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-206\" src=\"https:\/\/research.kent.ac.uk\/waf-project\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2857\/2014\/04\/jonathanmar2013.jpg\" alt=\"Jonathan Swan\" width=\"159\" height=\"240\" \/>Policy and Research Officer for Working Families<\/strong><br \/>\nJonathan Swan is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.workingfamilies.org.uk\">Policy and Research Officer for Working Families<\/a>. He has researched and written on a wide range of work-life integration issues, including: fathers and work, flexible working in senior roles, productivity and performance, organisational culture and active ageing. He is responsible for the annual Top Employers for Working Families benchmark for organisations and the Time Health and the Family series of reports which examine work-family issues on an annual basis.
