His research interests include work-life flexibility policies and practices, the implications of an aging workforce for public policy and management practice, and international comparisons of working time.<\/p>\n<h2>Sonja Drobni\u010d<\/h2>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-271\" src=\"https:\/\/research.kent.ac.uk\/waf-project\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2857\/2014\/04\/drobnic.jpg\" alt=\"Sonja Drobnic\" width=\"160\" height=\"206\" \/>W3 BIGSSS Professor in Sociology, University of Bremen<\/strong><br \/>\nSonja Drobni\u010d&#8217;s current research focuses on social stratification and gender inequalities, job quality and work-family issues, social networks, and life-course research and methods. Treas, 2010, Stanford University Press).<\/p>\n<h2>Colette Fagan<\/h2>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-269\" src=\"https:\/\/research.kent.ac.uk\/waf-project\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2857\/2014\/04\/cf.png\" alt=\"Colette Fagan\" width=\"133\" height=\"160\" \/>Professor and Faculty Deputy Dean, School of Social Sciences, University of Manchester<\/strong><br \/>\nColette Fagan is Professor of Sociology and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Manchester, UK. Her research focuses on the field of employment and public policy with particular interests in gender inequalities and gender mainstreaming; working conditions and job quality; working-time (and time-use more broadly); and international comparative analysis. His research interests are hours of work hours determination, flexible work scheduling and their effects on work-life and well-being, and relevant public polices and organizational practices regarding labour market and workplace flexibility. You can view his publications <a href=\"http:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/profile\/Lonnie_Golden\/publications\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Clare Kelliher<\/h2>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-272\" src=\"https:\/\/research.kent.ac.uk\/waf-project\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2857\/2014\/04\/ckelliher.jpg\" alt=\"Clare Kelliher\" width=\"135\" height=\"170\" \/>Professor of Work and Organisation at Cranfield School of Management, Cranfield University<\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">Clare Kelliher is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.som.cranfield.ac.uk\/som\/p13782\/Research\/Research-Centres\/Healthcare-Management\/Team\/Dr-Clare-Kelliher-BSc-MA-PhD\">Professor of Work and Organisation at Cranfield School of Management, Cranfield University<\/a>. \u00a0Clare specialises in the fields of employee relations, people and change management. \u00a0She holds a PhD in Organisational Behaviour from London Business School.\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\nHer research interests centre on the organisation of work and the management of the employment relationship in the context of organisational change. \u00a0Her doctoral research examined the impact of competitive pressure on the conduct of industrial relations in the NHS. \u00a0She is a member of the Change Management Consortium research team based at Cass Business School, City University, London and as part as this project has been involved in examining the implementation of change in large public and private sector organisations. \u00a0Clare has a long-standing interest in flexible working and currently directs a major project concerned with examining the impact of flexible working on performance, in conjunction with the charity Working Families and sponsored by seven companies.<\/p>\n<h2>Bart Meuleman<\/h2>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-286\" src=\"https:\/\/research.kent.ac.uk\/waf-project\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2857\/2014\/04\/photo.jpg\" alt=\"Bart Meuleman\" width=\"150\" height=\"210\" \/>Assistant Professor at the Centre for Sociological Research, KU Leuven<\/strong><br \/>\nBart Meuleman is Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of Leuven (Belgium), where he teaches social research methodology. His main research interests involve cross-national comparisons of attitude and value patterns. He is an expert in various cross-national comparative methods,including\u00a0multilevel modelling, multigroup\u00a0structural\u00a0equation modelling etc. He has published in international journals such as Annual Review of Sociology, Social Science Research, Journal of\u00a0Cross-cultural Psychology, Journal of European Social Policy and European Sociological Review.<\/p>\n<h2>Scott Schiemann<\/h2>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-287\" src=\"https:\/\/research.kent.ac.uk\/waf-project\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2857\/2014\/04\/sschieman.jpg\" alt=\"scott schieman\" width=\"118\" height=\"161\" \/>Professor, Department of Sociology, University of Toronto<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/individual.utoronto.ca\/sschieman\/Professional_Home_Page\/Home.html\">Scott Schiemann<\/a> is Research Chair (Social Contexts of Health)\u00a0at the University of Toronto. His research and teaching interests fall into three broad areas: health\/medical, work\/stratification, and the sociology of religion. He is currently engaged in a large, national longitudinal study of work, stress, and health among Canadians. This project investigates the social causes and health consequences of stress in the lives of Canadian adults and the ways that these processes change over time. Scott is also conducting an in-depth qualitative study of Canadians in dual-earner couples with children at home to explore the meaning and nature of the work-family interface &#8212; and the stressors and resources in these contexts.<br \/>\nUltimately, Scott seeks to document and describe the implications of these processes for the work-family interface, health, satisfaction, and well-being.<\/p>\n<h2>Peter Taylor-Gooby<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-201\" src=\"https:\/\/research.kent.ac.uk\/waf-project\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2857\/2014\/04\/taylorgooby-mono.jpg\" alt=\"Peter Taylor-Gooby\" width=\"114\" height=\"175\" \/><strong>Professor of Social Policy<br \/>\nSchool of Social Policy, Sociology and Social Research<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Peter_Taylor-Gooby\">Peter Taylor-Gooby OBE<\/a>\u00a0is Research Professor of Social Policy at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/sspssr\/staff\/academic\/taylorgooby.html\">University of Kent<\/a>. He chaired the ESRC&#8217;s <em>Economic Beliefs and Behaviour<\/em> and <em>Social Contexts and Responses to <\/em>programmes, the EU We<em>lfare Reform and the Managemetn of Societal Chnge<\/em> and the British Academy New Paradigms in Public Policy Programmes and has directed numerous ESRC, EU, Nuffield Foundation, Leverhulme Trust and other research projects. He currently chairs\u00a0the REF Social Work and Social Policy and Administration panel, having previously chaired the panel for the RAE.
