Its central research questions concern the nature and diversity of &#8216;unbelief&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>As well as <a href=\"https:\/\/research.kent.ac.uk\/understandingunbelief\/research\/adac\/\">core research, \u00a0<\/a>the programme has awarded\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/research.kent.ac.uk\/understandingunbelief\/funding-opportunities\/\">grants<\/a> to the value of \u00a31.25m for <a href=\"https:\/\/research.kent.ac.uk\/understandingunbelief\/research\/research-projects\/\">new research<\/a> and public engagement activities.<\/p>\n<p>The Understanding Unbelief programme runs between 2017 and 2020, and is based at the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/\">\u00a0University of Kent<\/a>.
