In this meeting Western Shoshone activist Ian Zabarte talks about ongoing struggles against the US-planned nuclear waste repositary at Yucca Mountain with some of the Greenham women who participated in halting a British nuclear test explosion at the Nevada Test Site in November 1990 and, later in July 1993, got arrested at Buckingham Palace while calling for the government and Queen to support the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty and oppose further nuclear testing and military activities on Western Shoshone land (in violation of the 1863 Ruby Valley Treaty which enshrined Shoshone rights and sovereignty to protect their land and water).
