About

Dreaming of Yesterday

Dreaming of Yesterday is an exploration of memory, in the form of a collection of poems filled with sensory nostalgia, moving between early childhood and adolescence, England and Hungary. Throughout, the work touches on themes of family, love, innocence, and depression.

Inspired by Joe Brainard’s I remember, this work depicts the ‘golden hazy glow’ of reminiscence, rediscovering the simplicity and innocence of youth in the process.
