Recording at the Dockyard (part 2)

Another day of recording at Chatham Historic Dockyard. We used the following:
– DPA 4060 (stereo) with Zoom H6
– Neumann KM184 (stereo) with Sound Devices MixPre-3

We recorded impulse responses, sound effects and location sound in the HMS Cavalier ship, launched in mid-1940s; in the Ocelot sumbarine, launched in 1962, in various room of the Commissioner’s House (cellar, landings, dressing room, drawing room, billiard room), built in 1704; one of the air raid shelters, built during WW2; the Ice House, a large well built at c.1840 to keep food cold and to provide crushed ice; and the Commissioner’s Garden, created in the 1640s.
