Social Critiques of Law

Visualising the Law, 22 March 2016

It is commonly reported that we remember just 10 percent of what we hear and 20 percent of what we read, but 80 percent of what we see and do; and that over 80 percent of the information we absorb is visual. This session is intended to demonstrate how visual techniques can be used in every aspect of legal research from conceptualisation to dissemination, and to encourage you to give it a try. The emphasis will be on typography (the selection and arrangement of typefaces) and image-making. The atmosphere will be focused, supportive and experimental.
