We recently hosted the mid-project workshop for UK – Vietnam Centella Asiatica Project (UV-CAP) – our work with partners in Vietnam to bring forward madecassic acid or a derivative thereof as a potential therapeutic for liver cancer, which is a huge problem in that country. The discussion ranged from agricultural techniques, through to medicinal chemistry, societal acceptance, and clinical applicability. Thank you to all who came!
