On 2-3 June the Political Psychology lab invited academic staff and postgraduate research students from the Universities of Kent, Essex and East Anglia to participate in a Political Psychology workshop held at the University of Kent.
The workshop brought together Eastern ARC researchers from political science, psychology and other social sciences, interested in political psychology. Some of the topics addressed were
- political ideology
- political behaviour and attitudes
- social justice and inequality
- system legitimacy
- group identity
The workshop included presentations and discussions of ongoing research projects, with the aim of establishing new interdisciplinary research collaborations. The final session also involved a mini sandpit facilitated by Research Services at the University of Kent and provided an excellent space for attendees to create innovative and collaborative research ideas.
