Elodi Troskie

About

Elodi is a writer and postgraduate student currently working towards an MA in Afrikaans literature at the University of Cape Town. Her research intersects space and place studies with literary trauma and memory studies, investigating how memories of both personal and historic trauma are entangled with place in Afrikaans literature. She has presented her research at various South African conferences. Elodi also works as the content editor of Klyntji.com, an independent online Afrikaans journal focused on progressive arts and culture. Her creative and editorial work, which is particularly concerned with kincentric ecology and human relations with place, has been published in Orion, Spectrum, New Contrast, Ons Klyntji, Sol Plaatje EU Poetry Anthology, Nuwe Stemme, Stellenbosch Literary Project and Penseel.
