Older people in employment event – EdinburghProfessor Wendy Loretto hosted an event at the University of Edinburgh Business School to discuss some of the issues affecting older people in employment. Professor Sarah Vickerstaff, Dr Laura Airey and Dr David Lain presented some of the findings from the Extending Working Lives project and discussed some possible policy options with representatives from the Scottish government. |

This refers to Chris’s term “self-imposed house arrest” which he believes can be brought about as a result of cities not being designed or organised with older people in mind. |
