Dr Susmita Datta

About

Following completion of a PhD in Molecular Genetics from UCL, Susmita entered the world of Science Funding. She worked for both the Wellcome Trust and Cancer Research UK for 7 years. She then returned to UCL and served as the UCL Genetics Institute Manager for another 5 years. At the University of East London, she was the Head of Research Support. She has been involved with the Europlanet Project since 2018, during the Europlanet 2020 RI Project, and is now the Project Manager for the Europlanet 2024 RI.
