Anita Heward

About

Anita Heward has more than 20 years’ experience working to promote space and astronomy in Europe. Since 2005, Anita has worked with the European Planetary Network (EuroPlaNet), Europlanet Research Infrastructure (RI) and Europlanet 2020 RI to integrate the European community of planetary scientists. She founded the Europlanet Media Centre, which promotes scientific results from Europlanet 2024 RI and Europlanet Society activities, planetary space missions, observational campaigns and field trips. Anita is the editor of the new biannual Europlanet Magazine. She has run the press office for over 30 national and international scientific conferences, including the European Planetary Science Congress (EPSC) since its foundation in 2006. She is a Director of the Dill Faulkes Educational Trust Ltd, which leads education and outreach activities for Europlanet 2024 RI.
