David Flusfeder is the author of seven novels. He has also written short stories for magazines, anthologies and film scripts. His opera Army of Lovers, written in collaboration with the composer Mark Springer, received its premiere in August 2018 at the Potentino Music Festival in Tuscany. His work incorporates different styles and genres and registers, but recurring themes are identity, freedom, and the inescapability of comedy.
He has contributed reviews and features to many magazines and newspapers, including the New Statesman, Guardian, Independent. He has been a television critic for The Times and a poker columnist for the Sunday Telegraph.
