Contributors included Joe Cleary, Valentine Cunningham, Pam Morris and many others.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Moving a Country&#8221;: Refugee Stories. Hosted by\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kentrefugeehelp.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kent Refugee Help<\/a>\u00a0and the Centre for Colonial and Postcolonial Studies, and part of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.canterburyfringe.co.uk\/festival\/event\/moving-a-country-refugee-stories\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Canterbury Festival Fringe programme,<\/a>\u00a0the event spotlighted what it\u2019s like to be a refugee. Highlights included: readings and talks by writers and former detainees, a play by an award winning poet and playwright, and political poetry by local, national and international poets.
