At undergraduate level we offer a popular course in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/courses\/undergraduate\/140\/english-american-and-postcolonial-literatures\">English, American and Postcolonial Literatures<\/a>, which allows students to combine the broader study of literature whilst pursuing more specialised Postcolonial modules. A final-year undergraduate\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/english\/news\/index.html?view=258\">study-visit to Istanbul<\/a>, including lectures by internationally-respected scholars in the field of Ottoman and post-Ottoman literary history and American writers in Istanbul, took place in December 2012. At postgraduate level, we offer a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/courses\/postgraduate\/225\/postcolonial-studies\">taught MA\u00a0<\/a>(with an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/paris\/\">optional term in Paris<\/a>) as well as several\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/english\/postgraduate\/research\/pcresearch.html\">research programmes<\/a>\u00a0at PhD level.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The School of English offers a variety of taught and research Postcolonial programmes for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
