Assessed work forms a major part of your overall evaluation. The details below are general and should always be considered in light of the guidance given by your module convenor; if in doubt, as them for clarification.
In your first year, your assessed work counts towards passing the year, but is not factored in to your final degree result. You should use this as an opportunity to challenge yourself and explore new opportunities.
During your second and third year, your assessed work will count towards your degree, and so you should take care to meet your deadlines and manage your workload.
Deadlines for assessed work are announced well in advance. It is your responsibility to ensure you have the time and the means of completing the assignment on schedule. Pace yourself and plan ahead by using the ASK toolkit.
